Full Job Description

As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources. In this role, you will be in charge of:

  • Work alone, without supervision, but reporting to the Snr Project Manager, on a daily basis to deliver requirements
  • Primary customer contact for the duration of each project. Work with Sales, Field Operations and other support functions to coordinate project development, implementation and control, taking into consideration customer specifications, cost effectiveness, company technical/engineeringprocedures, safety, and optimum quality standards
  • Communicate the PO status to the relevant personnel.
  • Ensure that all subordinates are fully briefed on the work scope, their duties, the risks and all tasks are carried out safely and comply with all BH and customer's HSE and QA standards and procedures
  • Participate in pre-job briefing and ensure familiarisation with the workscopes
  • Responsible for all financial aspects of project management including the establishment of systems to regularly review costs, invoicing and cash collection.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with your contracts
  • Identify opportunities to expand the project in ways that bring value to our customer and satisfy our profitability requirements
  • Ensure that delivered services achieve highest quality and performance levels
  • Respond rapidly to technical and commercial queries from customers, shop, & field service personnel
  • Develop and maintain good customer relationships using solid communication skills
  • Resolve problems post project closure to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Support Baker Hughes PPS bases if required in Europe/Africa

    A degree (or equivalent) in an Engineering subject
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in industry
  • Project Management experience is essential
  • Process and Pipeline experience is essential
  • Offshore experience is essential for this role
  • Good computer skills
  • Must be a self-starter and natural leader who is capable of working with little to no supervision.
  • Excellent safety attitude is a must. Must participate in all Company safety programs and adhere to all policies
