Senior Accounts Assistant

iMultiply is working with an independent, digital accounting firm, based in Ayrshire, that is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to join its growing team. 

The Company

The Firm aims to provide the highest standard of accounting and financial management services to its clients throughout the West of Scotland. It's mission is to provide a flexible, approachable, one-stop service for all our clients accounting needs.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive accountancy services to clients, including statutory accounting, VAT preparation, self-assessment tax returns, and year-end accounts.
• Communicate with clients to deliver information, advice, and support tailored to their needs.
• Assist and collaborate with team members in their respective roles.
• Meet with clients to offer guidance, training, and technical support as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones and managing mail (collection and posting).
• Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the management team.

The Person:

• Applicants must have experience of all aspects of statutory accounting, preparing VAT and self assessment tax returns.
• Applicants should also have excellent working knowledge of Xero and strong practice accountancy background with at least three years spent in this environment.
• Experience with payroll would be advantageous.
