Position: Senior Site Engineer

Location: Glasgow

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage site operations, ensuring they align with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and site staff, fostering a cohesive team environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the project management team to coordinate resources, budgets, and timelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately, providing guidance to ensure construction meets design intent.
  • Manage subcontractors, monitor their performance, and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Implement health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel on site.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in a Site Engineer role within the construction industry.
  • Strong proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and using relevant software.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
  • Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and their implementation.
