Full Job Description

A prominent main contractor based in central Scotland is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their management team on a large new-build project in Edinburgh. With a long-standing presence in the Scottish market, our client boasts an impressive project portfolio across both public and private sectors and has a proud history of developing and promoting talent.

As the Senior Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of this £25m+ project, overseeing all aspects of site management, including:
- Leading site teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Ensuring that work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining and developing site records.
- Pushing forward project in line with budget and quality guidelines.
- Maintaining and growing strong relationships with clients and sub-contractors.
- Reporting to the Senior Project Manager and collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve project success.

To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Extensive experience in managing large-scale construction projects, with a focus on RC Frame structures.
- Proven expertise in external envelope and concrete works.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Relevant construction qualifications (e.g. SMTS, CSCS, First Aid).
