Site Engineer - Rail & Civil Engineering Projects

Are you a skilled Site Engineer with a passion for delivering exceptional projects in rail and civil engineering? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor in Scotland. Role Overview:
As a Site Engineer, you'll be at the heart of significant infrastructure projects, overseeing daily site activities, managing resources, and ensuring quality standards. You'll work closely with project teams to ensure that all engineering, technical, and safety requirements are met on time and within budget. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to landmark rail and civil engineering projects that make a difference to communities across Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely and efficiently.
- Undertake site surveys, setting out, and quality checks, maintaining high standards throughout the project.
- Support senior management with project planning and cost control.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project objectives are met.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving on site, ensuring best practices are followed.

Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer, ideally in the rail or civil engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of setting out, site management, and project planning.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental management in a construction setting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
