Full Job Description

Peace Recruitment's client is a leading contractor in the commercial construction industry, known for delivering high-quality refurbishment and new build projects across a variety of sectors. They pride ourselves on their commitment to excellence, safety, and client satisfaction.


Job Description: They are looking for an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to oversee their commercial refurbishment and new build projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing construction sites, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.


Projects are across east and west Central Scotland so you will be allocated a site that is commutable for you. Projects range from £70k to £7 million in value.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise on-site operations for refurbishment and new build projects.
  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Oversee all aspects of health, safety, and compliance, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Report on project progress to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and project teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial construction, particularly with refurbishment and new build projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work certifications.
