Job Description:

A major UK Tier 1 Building Contractor who are known as a real market leader in their field, delivering new build construction & civil engineering projects in the public, private and regulated sectors.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a real household name in the industry with the scope to work on prestigious projects.

You will oversee the construction of a complex 18-storey flatted development in Glasgow. The project will involve the use of post-tensioned (PT) slabs and reinforced concrete (RC) frames, among other advanced construction techniques. This role requires a strong background in managing large-scale construction projects (for another Tier 1 Building Contractor) and a keen eye for detail to ensure the successful delivery.

Criteria:

·       CSCS card

·       SMSTS

·       First Aid at Work

·       Trade or Construction/Civil Engineering Degree

·       Relevant previous Tier 1 Building Construction experience in one or more of the following: Commercial, retail, healthcare, education, BTR.

·       Proven ability to manage and control subcontractors in line with the project programme, safety, and environmental legislation.

·       Experience of temporary works procedures

·       Ability to operate within a team environment.

·       Ability to produce short term programmes Quality focused Leadership skills IT skills.
