Full Job Description

  • Under general supervision, provides technical support responsibility for overall project execution and serves as point of contact for Customer's well site supervisor.
  • Communicates project objectives to Halliburton Energy Services (HES) personnel on location.
  • Coordinates delivery of HES and third party equipment to the well site.
  • Ensures that equipment received is in accordance with documented procedures and conducts an inspection of equipment for damage during transportation.
  • Attends pre- project planning meetings.
  • Facilitates safety meetings and Job Safety analysis (JSA's) prior to starting work activities.
  • Maintains updated project procedures and ensures all HES personnel are utilize latest version.
  • Documents lessons learned and communicates the same to Product Service Line (PSL) team.
  • Works with Nitrogen personnel to rig up, function testing and operate equipment along with rig down procedures.
  • Mentors Service Supervisors, Service Operators, Operator Assistants and other personnel on location who are unfamiliar with Nitrogen processes and procedures.
  • Provides input on individual performance levels of his/her subordinates and trains to enhance job performance.
  • Accountable for execution of Halliburton Management System (HMS).
  • Follows up on job site performance with the customer.
  • Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
  • Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined.

  • Must be knowledgeable of design applications (Nitrogen Unipro II system, Halwin, and associated software).
  • Ability to perform pre/post job inspections is required.
  • Ability to operate nitrogen PSL equipment (i.e. Pumps, Tanks, Unipro II, etc.) is required.
  • Must possess the ability to understand operational procedures, well bore schematics, and computer programs. (Halwin).
  • Knowledge of Halliburton Management System (HMS) and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines is required.
  • Must have successfully completed the Essential Nitrogen, Nitrogen Operator, and Halwin training courses.
  • Given the nature of oil field service work, must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary.
  • The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.
  • Advanced computer skills are required.
  • Must possess good mentoring, leadership and negotiating skills.
  • Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
  • Ensures compliance with HSE regulations and guidelines.
  • Promotes and takes an active part in the Quality Improvement Process.
