Full Job Description

Work under general supervision within a Workshop environment carrying out maintenance, diagnoses and repairs to a range of equipment. Undertake the preparation of equipment to Company standards in a safe manner for use within an operational environment. Key Activities and Accountabilities

  • Undertake under Supervision the preventative and predictive maintenance, diagnosis and repair of equipment in line with work plans up to the required Company quality and certification standards
  • Assist with the rigging up, building and rigging down of equipment as required
  • May be required to drive a forklift to undertake the movement, loading and unloading of equipment provided current driving qualification held
  • Undertake inspection of equipment and prepare the appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with company's policies, procedures and practices. Ensure that all documentation is the correct revision
  • Update job packs and return to the foreman/supervisor at the end of each work period
  • Liaise with various internal departments such as logistics & stores to ensure all required components & movement of items is achieved to ensure completion of tasks in line with operational requirements & timelines
  • Actively participate in morning meetings to discuss safety, maintenance status/tasks, mobilisation/demobilisation updates etc.,
  • Attend and participate in tool box talks and planning meetings when required
  • Carry out daily housekeeping of work place and tools to ensure a clean working environment

    Technical Qualification
  • Previous work experience preferably in the related product line
  • Forklift license desirable but not essential
