Job Description
Post Title: Landscape Officer (HC09)/Principal Landscape Officer
Location: Inverness
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary:
HC09: £42,879 - £46,410 p.a.
HC10: £47,847 - £52,325 p.a. (Subject to ongoing job re-evaluation)
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To assist in the delivery of the development management function and in particular with the larger more complex planning applications within the Strategic Projects Team across Highland.

Requirements
Post qualification experience in a wide range of development management planning related landscape and visual work, particularly relating to major and national EIA Developments, including renewable energy, electricity transmission, and other large-scale infrastructure.
Landscape architecture degree and full Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute.
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
