Full Job Description
Anderson Knight are currently recruiting for our client who are looking or a part-time Accounts Assistant to join their growing finance team. Based in central Glasgow, you will work closely with the operations department and report directly to the CFO. In this part-time role, you will contribute to the growth and efficiency of our business by ensuring the accuracy and organization of financial records, enabling informed decision-making.
This role offers hybrid working and a competitive salary of £28-32,000 based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
● Record and maintain accurate financial transactions.
● Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets.
● Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and coding of invoices.
● Maintain company ledgers and ensure compliance with sales terms.
● Process and post payments, invoices, income, and receipts in accounting software.
● File historical records and retrieve documents when necessary.
● Monitor debt levels and assist in reconciling inaccuracies.
● Support the development and monitoring of budgets.
● Prepare information for auditors, VAT returns and FCA returns.
● Provide administrative and clerical support as required.
