Full Job Description
We are a large family owned farming business in Eastern Perthshire with a vacancy for an enthusiastic and experienced stockperson to look after our Organic herd of 110 suckler cows and followers. The organic cattle are one of many enterprises within the business which also includes, potatoes, brassicas, cereals and flax. New cattle facilities are to be completed by the autumn as part of our modern forward thinking business.
Applicants must have good level of experience in animal husbandry, animal health and administering treatments, calving and be competent at record keeping.
The role will involve daily running and management of cattle, feeding, bedding and welfare, along with general tractor duties to assist the arable enterprise.
3 bedroom, central heated cottage available if required.
