Full Job Description

Cally Estate are seeking a reliable, motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our small team near Blairgowrie, Perthshire. Covering about 418 hectares of upland hill and grazing pastures, we run a herd of 80 Aberdeen Angus Pedigree and commercial cows, calving spring and autumn, and 700 Scottish Blackface and cross ewes.

Key Details:

Location: Near Blairgowrie, Perthshire, Scotland
Position: Full-time, permanent
Benefits: Accommodation & vehicle will be provided along with appropriate remuneration
Accommodation: Modern 3 bed partly furnished house available

Role Overview:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Day-to-day feeding and care of cattle and sheep
General farm maintenance
General tractor work
Seasonal tasks as required
Alternate weekends

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role is required
A strong work ethic, attention to detail and a genuine passion for farming
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Basic tractor skills essential
Full UK driving license
