Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled time served Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and roughcasting, with the ability to work effectively in various weather conditions. The position will be full time with wages negotiable.

Responsibilities

Install roofing systems, including slate, tiles, and flat roofs.
Repair and replace damaged roofing materials as needed.
Conduct inspections to assess the condition of roofs and identify necessary repairs.
Work with various materials for roofing solutions.
Perform heavy lifting and manoeuvre materials safely on-site.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Proficiency in using power tools and equipment relevant to roofing tasks.
SVQ Level 3 Minimum - Advanced level preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
Physical stamina and strength for heavy lifting and working at heights.
Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
Effective communication and excellent customer service skills.
Full Driving licence preferred.
