The Board works to ensure that the school complies with the legislative, regulatory and best-practice framework within which English education and charities operate.
Trustees are asked to commit to four Main Board meetings a year (2.5 hours). These meetings are currently held virtually.
The Treasurer will be the Chair of the Finance Sub Committee. The Finance Sub Committee meets four times a year.

Responsibilities of the Treasurer:
Overseeing, approving and presenting draft budgets and management accounts to the Board.

Overseeing the financial health of LVBS to ensure its resources remain adequate for its current and future financial needs.
Advising the Board on the financial implications of the organisation's strategic plans.
Ensuring that the charity has appropriate reserves and investment policies and liaising with and advising staff about financial matters.
