Role Responsibilities:
As a labourer at MCS Safety Systems, you’ll be at the heart of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving your colleagues to jobs.
• Assisting in performing reactive roof repairs to maintain structural integrity (Slate, tile, metal, felt, Sarnafil/rubber)
• Assisting in managing gutter cleaning/replacement using rope access, Skyvac vacuum system and our MEWP.
• Assisting with downpipes replacement.
• Assisting with UPVC Facia/soffit repair and replacement.
• Assisting with safety equipment installation and testing (including roof safety anchors, guardrails, aluminium towers, horizontal lifelines & Easi-dec systems)
• Ensuring safety compliance when working at heights and adhering to industry best practices.
• Collaborating with team members to address diverse challenges and meet project deadlines.
• Identifying and proposing solutions to potential issues to enhance operational efficiency.
• Upholding client satisfaction by delivering work to the highest standards.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Occasional weekend work may be required to meet demand.

About The Role

This role requires working in environments that may involve climbing, lifting, and extended periods of movement. Applicants should be comfortable with physically active tasks and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

• A valid UK driving licence for travelling to various job sites.
• A proactive attitude and attention to detail.
• Strong Problem-Solving Skills.
• Effective Communication Skills.
• Time Management.

Desirable:

• A valid Cherry Picker license.
• Minimum of 2 years of roofing experience.
• A current CSCS card.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations, particularly when working at heights.
• Knowledge of Roofing Safety Standards.
