Full Job Description
We are delighted to be working with this instantly recognisable business in the Aberdeen area as they look to secure a senior IT Engineer! In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the entire IT Infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems and networks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Cisco firewalls, switches, and telephony.
- Monitor any necessary modifications to the network settings.
- Enhance the present environment's resilience by taking part in the development and deployment of new IT solutions.
- To determine appropriate outage windows, schedule and oversee renovations in coordination with other departments.
- Keep an eye on and resolve network (LAN/WAN) performance problems.
- Record long-term modifications and issue tickets.
- Offer practical assistance for any IT-related problems.
