Full Job Description
Senior Middleware Engineer| 10 Months (Inside IR35)| Fully Remote.
Harvey Nash's Client is recruiting for a Senior Middleware Engineer on a 10 month contract.
Main Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of activities within projects and driving them to resolution.
- Working with others within and outside of your immediate team to ensure the best outcomes possible are delivered for the services the team support.
- Improving our delivery through innovation and continuous improvement.
- Working with project & technical teams to ensure our solutions meet the organisation's operational and strategic needs.
- Collaborating with internal and external parties to provide excellent customer service
- BAU tasks supporting Important Business Systems including progressing certificate renewals, supporting Route to Live changes
Key Skills
- An expertise in some of these Middleware technologies including:
- IBM Integration Bus (IIB) / ACE / MQ
- Weblogic
- JBoss 7 & 8
- Windows & RHEL OS
- Dynatrace
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in prioritising multiple activities in a rapidly changing environment
- Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience driving complex issues
- An ability to work on your own initiative and take ownership and responsibility for project deliverables
- May require out of hours implementation support for project therefore flexibility regarding working hours and options for overtime
- Ability to effectively communicate and resolve complex situations.
