At Tech Mobile, they specialise in building and refurbishing branded PC systems, using high-quality components to ensure the best service for their customers. As part of the team, you'll gain hands-on experience assembling and maintaining PC systems while developing essential IT skills in a supportive environment.
Why Tech Mobile?
Are you tech-savvy and eager to learn the ins and outs of IT support?
We’re looking for a dedicated and eager Computer Support Technician Apprentice to join our team and help maintain IT systems!
If you're eager to kick-start your career in IT and work alongside experienced professionals, we’d love to hear from you!
What’s Involved?
- Provide hands-on support for hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Assist in setting up and configuring new devices and systems.
- Help manage IT systems, including networks, databases, and servers.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, both remotely and on-site.
- Learn to maintain and update software and systems to ensure maximum efficiency.
What do we need from you?
- A strong passion for technology and problem-solving.
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and IT infrastructure (no experience required – we’ll train you!).
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Salary:
£15,704 per annum.
Working week:
Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm, 37.5hrs per week.
Benefits:
- On-the-job training with hands-on experience.
- Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and experienced professionals.
- A supportive environment where learning and growth are a priority.
Future prospects:
90% of QA apprentices secure permanent employment after successfully completing their apprenticeship: this is 20% higher than the national average.
Important information:
This vocational apprenticeship comprehensively supports your specific job role with this particular employer. Throughout your learning journey, you are fully supported by your dedicated QA skills coach and your mentor at work. They ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to be successful in your job role and pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.
Starting with insights into your current potential, they plan your growth in a programmatic way, close skills gaps with immersive training and ensure what you learn is applicable to what you do. They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.
On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 8.
