Full Job Description

We're seeking a motivated individual to become a Warehouse Dispatch Operative, with our food production and manufacturing client in Broxburn.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Pay rate: 12.21 per hour - paid weekly

Working as a Warehouse Dispatch Operative, your duties will include, but not limited to:

To store products, select and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring these are to specification
Use a handheld scan device to scan products in to/out of the computerised system of business
Safely and efficiently operate machinery (may include strapping machine, pallet wrapper)
Extensive manual handling of product
Secure orders for transport
Participate in stock counts
Ensure all relevant records and paperwork are maintained accurately

To be successful in this warehouse position you will have previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a food production/manufacturing environment. Combined with:

Experience using dispatch paperwork
Ability to work on your own and work well with others
Thorough attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Good time management skills
The ability to remain calm under pressure
