Licensing and Merchandise Manager – Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games

We’re looking for a dynamic Licensing and Merchandise Manager to join the Glasgow 2026 team and help shape an unforgettable global sporting event. This isn’t just a job – it’s your chance to make history, contribute to a lasting legacy, and showcase Scotland on the world stage.


About the Role:

As Licensing and Merchandise Manager, you’ll:

  • Lead on delivering the Licensing & Merchandise programme
  • Manage relationships with licensees and retail partners
  • Protect the Glasgow 2026 brand across all merchandise and consumer products
  • Support marketing, visual merchandising, compliance, and planning efforts
  •  

You’ll be part of a passionate Commercial team, working with experts to deliver an innovative, sustainable Games experience rooted in Glasgow’s resilience, creativity, and drive.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in event retail or merchandise management, ideally within sport or large-scale events
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Knowledge of brand protection and licensing compliance
  • A cool head under pressure, great organisational skills, and a collaborative spirit
