Full Job Description

As a Senior Care Assistant with Meallmore you will have a vital role in guiding our team in our mission to provide high-quality, personalised care;

  • Collaborating with the Registered Nurse/Team Leader to consider, plan, implement, and evaluate the comprehensive care needs of each individual using our service.
  • Cultivate and encourage a positive work environment and practices that are safe and meet all relevant standards, policies, and legislation.
  • Utilise an all-inclusive approach to achieve outcomes in cooperation with all departments within our care service.

    You'll be registered as a supervisor with the Scottish Social Services Council, within the necessary time frame.
  • You'll be on a journey to obtain the qualifications needed for SSSC registration.
  • Holding an SVQ level 3 or higher, or its equivalent, in Social Services & Healthcare is a desirable trait.
  • You'll have a PDA or an equivalent in Supervision.
  • You'll successfully graduate from the Meallmore Upskills Academy Senior Care Worker Programme.
