iMultiply are working in partnership with an exciting organisation in Edinburgh for a Finance Business Partner to provide high-quality financial analysis and management accounting services on a temporary basis for around 4 months to start with.

Key Responsibilities:

·     Act as the key finance contact for multiple teams, offering expert insight into financial performance.

·     Develop and deliver high-quality management information to support budget monitoring, forecasting, and financial decision-making.

·     Assist in preparing the annual budget, providing technical support and financial guidance to budget holders.

·     Prepare and present monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

·     Support year-end statutory accounts preparation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and reconciliations.

·     Maintain the asset register, ensuring alignment with financial systems and statutory accounts.

·     Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including budget holders, auditors, and local government bodies.

Skills and Experience required:

·     Proven experience in a finance business partnering role or similar financial management position.

·     Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

·     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and support stakeholders at all levels.

·     Ability to present financial information in a clear, concise, and meaningful way.

·     Strong knowledge of management accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting principles.

·     A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

·     Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is desirable.
