Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Samples Team Member to join the Supply Chain Planning Team at our Girvan distillery. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end customer experience in relation to sample and cask regauge requests for internal and external customers. Main Responsibility
- Effectively manage sampling requests, prioritising and working to On Time In Full (OTIF) targets.
- Manage sample administration and control, including LIMS and despatch management.
- Carry out all sampling activities ensuring that safe working practices and quality procedures are strictly followed to ensure compliance with HMRC, environmental legislation, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 & ISO14001 requirements to produce safe food and feed products.
- Ensure stakeholder relationships are strong across multiple departments.
- Working within a high performing team culture, and aligning with the Company Purpose and Values, contribute appropriately to team meetings and support the implementation of the spirit supply strategy and continuous improvement projects.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build excellent working relationships - Ability to influence and negotiate.
- Pragmatic problem solver with the ability to contend and deliver with conflicting priorities
- Makes prompt, clear decisions which may involve tough choices or considered risks
- Develops job knowledge and expertise through continual professional development
- Demonstrates an understanding of different organisational departments and functions Knowledge and understanding of distribution procedures and documentation requirements
