Murray Recruitment are recruiting an Account Manager for our client based in Scotland.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join a successful and expanding team, covering the Scotland business region. The role offers strong career progression and the chance to make a real impact in a growing organisation.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing strong client relationships, ensuring contract retention, and identifying opportunities to up-sell additional services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage customer relationships, delivering high-quality service and meeting annual sales targets.
- Negotiate and secure new contracts, as well as up-sell additional services at target profit margins.
- Assist in the mobilisation of new contracts and ensure smooth handovers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Produce accurate cost estimates, quotations, and supporting sales documentation.
- Manage outstanding debt and ensure timely payments from clients.
- Maintain an up-to-date and active sales pipeline to support growth targets.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar Account Manager or Technical Sales role.
- Ideally, experience within building services, construction, or FM sectors.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Competent in using MS Office applications.
- Flexible and willing to travel throughout the UK, with overnight stays when required.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
Offering:
- Salary up to £40k per annum.
- Commission scheme paying additional £10-15k per annum
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
