As a Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to take charge of breaking into new markets, building relationships with our clients and partners and marketing exciting new products. You'll be a key player in our growing commercial team, driving the success and development of our company. Some of your daily tasks will include:

Identify and develop business opportunities
Evaluate market trends and oversee market research activities to inform business decision making
Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy, working closely with the Head of Commercial
Develop bidding strategies that are creative, meet client requirement and maximise company profitability
Develop and lead a high-performing team of commercial managers, setting targets and monitoring performance while providing guidance and feedback to support their professional development

Degree in Economics or a related field, and a solid grasp of microeconomic, macroeconomic, and econometric theory
Experience in a commercial management role, preferably in a consulting, research, or data analysis firm
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience managing budgets, setting targets, and monitoring performance
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate market trends and inform decision making
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with record in developing and maintaining client relationships
Strong leadership and people management skills, with a focus on team building and professional development
Experience working in social research or data analysis fields is a plus
Experience working with EU market procurement is a plus
