Full Job Description

FinTech RS are supporting our client, a well established and known accountancy firm, to recruit for an Administration Assistant to join their team in the City Centre office in Aberdeen.


This is a full time, permanent role (37.5 hours) and will joining a growing business that offers great career progression and opportunities to their staff. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and is use to working in a highly professional environment.

Key duties of this role:

  • Handling all incoming calls for the office and passing these on appropriately or taking messages
  • You will be the first point of contact for all visitors of the office alongside staff, providing a welcoming environment and experience for everyone
  • Working alongside other administrative staff to support with workload, ensuring deadlines are met and that wider teams feel supported
  • Responsible for both incoming post distribution and outgoing post including franking and liaising with couriers
  • Diary management of staff diaries, in order to make appointments and prepare and distribute staff status and movements to the team
  • Undertake other duties such as maintaining stationery and general supplies orders, maintaining meeting rooms and wider adhoc duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the office

  • A strong people person, who is good at building relationships with clients and well staff members
  • A self-motivated, flexible individual who can use their initiative will be well rewarded within this position
  • Willingness to learn and the ability to adapt, as no two days will be the same
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
