Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements.
• Map current processes and identify inefficiencies and opportunities for re-engineering and automation.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Collaborate with service designers, user researchers, and technical teams to ensure solutions meet user needs and business goals.
• Support the development of user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
• Ensure adherence to Digital Scotland Service Standard (DSSS) criteria and facilitate assessments.
• Contribute to the design of efficient, secure processes aligned with a cloud-hosted SaaS platform.
• Provide ongoing analysis and reporting on project progress and business outcomes.

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience in business analysis for large-scale digital transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of process re-engineering, automation, and cloud-based SaaS solutions.
• Familiarity with Digital Scotland Service Standard and its application in government projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
