Oliver Smith Recruitment are working exclusively with our key client in Glasgow to hire a Credit Control specialist on a permanent basis.

Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking financial services company dedicated to helping their clients achieve their financial goals. With a strong commitment to excellence and innovation, they have established ourselves as a leader in the industry. 

They are now seeking a talented and motivated Collections Advisor / Credit Controller to join the team and contribute to their continued success. 

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, using your excellent communication and negotiation skills to collect payments and resolve any outstanding issues. Your goal is to minimise losses and maximise recoveries while providing exceptional service to their clients. Your role will be shaped around the below responsibilities: 

• Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts and develop effective collection strategies. 

• Initiate contact with debtors through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence. 

• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement options with customers. 

• Investigate and resolve customer disputes or issues that may be delaying payments. 

• Provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with debtors to facilitate resolution.

Interviews will be held ASAP at our clients HQ in Glasgow.
