Digital Analyst - 12 month FTC Be part of a growing and influential Digital Analytics team within M&G. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Digital Analyst to progress their career. You will be joining the team who work alongside multiple stakeholder groups across the M&G Life business. You'll work with Digital Marketers, Product Teams, Designers & Developers and use your experience to ensure we are making data driven decisions that support M&G's growth objectives. The scope of your working day will range from technical conversations with developers through to delivering insights to stakeholders. Always challenging but always rewarding. What you will be involved in:

  • Implementation, delivery, testing and reporting of new tagging requirements, working closely with the cross functional Studio Teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive tracking of user journeys, key interactions and business-critical events.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on the analysis of digitally tracked customer and adviser behaviours, understand the end to end experience of a user and shape insights around their needs and requirements, focused on value add areas for optimisation aligned with broader business goals.
  • Preparing reports, dashboards and visualisations using Adobe Analytics on visitor behaviour across M&G's digital portfolio.
  • Presenting insights using Adobe Analytics / PowerPoint / Excel to key stakeholders (Digital Product Teams / Marketing Teams etc.) in a clear and easy to digest format.
  • Provide ad-hoc data analysis as required.
  • Supporting the Senior Digital Analysts within the wider Digital Analytics team as needed on Optimisation tasks, marketing / digital marketing campaign reporting and analysis and general digital performance reporting.
  • Provide support and training to the wider business teams on Adobe Analytics to foster a self-serve culture
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders within the Product Teams / wider business to maintain an ongoing understanding of upcoming projects that will require the input of Digital Analytics.
  • Champion the value, impact and relevance of digital analytics as a critical function internally, particularly amongst new stakeholders who may not always prioritise data driven insights

    Experience of working with Digital Analytics tools like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
  • Experience of working within a Digital environment and / or an understanding of traditional Digital KPI's
  • Experience of working with technical teams in the implementation of Digital Analytics tagging requirements
  • Experience of digital data interpretation - how to report on or analyse some digital data and explain your findings to a stakeholder
  • Good excel skills and comfortable working with large volumes of raw data
  • Experience of working with business collaboration tools like Jira or Miro
  • Good communicator - ability to engage with or present to colleagues or stakeholders
