Events Assistant (Contract)

Your new company
You will be working for a large public sector organisation in Glasgow. Due to work load and current projects, there is a vacancy to bring in temporary Events Support initially until the end of February 2025.
Your new role
As a member of the Events Team, provide professional support to the organisations events function, and specifically support the delivery of a range of stakeholder engagement events. These may include student recruitment, influencer, alumni and donor engagement events. Assisting in the co-ordination of a wide range of events on and off site, physical and virtual delivery, including some events held overseas, ensuring all events enhance the organisations brand and reputation to all stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in an events position will lead to your success. Experience managing a range or events in person and virtual. Experience producing event communications and promotional materials, including web notices, event invitations and event signage.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered an initial contract until end of February 2025. The hourly rate for the role is 14.73 per hour, this will be paid to you via Hays Weekly timesheets.
