Finance and Business Support Manager

We have an exciting and new senior leadership opportunity to work as part of a successful team. The role is responsible for Volunteer Scotland s financial management and financial process including procurement and contract management, financial risk management, accounts and payroll. You will lead and manage the business support function including facilities and IT, ensuring business support resources are managed effectively to support the organisation. You will be a qualified Chartered Accountant with a proven track record gained at a senior level with the ability to work as part of a senior management team and the ability to empower and challenge supportively. About Volunteer Scotland Volunteer Scotland is the leadership organisation in Scotland to support volunteering, and a key player in delivering the ambitions set out in Scotland s Volunteering Action Plan. We also provide disclosure checks to the voluntary sector in Scotland. We are recognised for our knowledge, expertise and authority on how to support excellent volunteer practice and experiences for everyone. We are in the process of developing a fresh vision and strategy to guide us over the next few years the strategy is ambitious, sets out our distinct contribution to the sector, and seeks to offer fresh, innovative and appealing services for members and non-members alike.
