Full Job Description

Oxfam in Indonesia is looking for consultant is expected to deliver the following:

  • Inception report: an initial report outlining the consultant's approach, methodology, and a proposed work plan within two weeks of contract commencement.
  • Draft research report: A comprehensive draft report, including a literature review, findings, analysis, and preliminary recommendations that will be presented 2 times (in February and March 2025).
  • Bilingual Final research report: A revised and finalized Cost Benefit Analysis on Community-led Renewable Energy Development report, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and the contracting organization, within two weeks after receiving feedback on the draft report. The report will serve as a reference document for Year 3 WE For JET Planning dan it will be disseminated within Oxfam and among implementing partners., A simple proposal explaining on adoption or modification of the recommendation method of the ToR including the budget and timeline to conduct the overall evaluation assignment.

  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Well knowledge for climate change context, include mitigation and adaptation.
  • Familiarity with the Just Energy Transition, Unpaid Care Work and GEDSI issues.
  • Experience utilizing feminist MEAL principles and practices.
  • Experience working with international institutions, international NGOs, and local CSOs.
  • Ability to facilitate and relate to stakeholders at multiple levels and in diverse contexts.
  • Excellent language skills for writing and communication, both English and Indonesian.
  • Sensitivity to cultural and historical contexts in the data collection and analysis process.
  • Ability to comply with specific requirements and strict deadlines.
