Maintenance Officer
- Annual Salary: 33,334 (18.32 per hour)
- Location: Edinburgh
- Job Type: Temporary ( 3 Months )
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Officer to join our client's team in Edinburgh. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in housing maintenance & property management, particularly those experienced in housing assets factoring. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality factoring services to our customers.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Respond to day-to-day enquiries from factored customers, primarily via email and occasionally by phone.
- Request quotes, raise and complete jobs related to property repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct inspections of repairs both before and after completion.
- Perform estate inspections and coordinate follow-up actions.
- Organise and lead meetings with property owners, managing subsequent actions.
- Collaborate with colleagues on larger projects approved by proprietors.
- Liaise with various departments such as Compliance, Projects, and Estates/Housing to ensure cohesive service delivery.
- Assist the Senior Factoring Officer as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in housing, property management, or maintenance is essential.
- Knowledge of factoring services is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and communication skills to manage multiple tasks and interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet organisational goals.
- Proficiency in managing contractual, regulatory, and legislative requirements.
