Full Job Description

Looking to work for one of Scotland's oldest charities who do some amazing work and where you'll see some real job satisfaction in your role? Want a varied role giving you exposure to a range of channels as well as allowing you to utilise your creative flair?

The Nazareth Trust is a Christian charity employing over 800 people in Nazareth, Israel, through its hospital, nursing college, biblical tourism operation and volunteer programme.

This newly created role will sit as part of their small Edinburgh team - a genuinely great bunch of people all working together to achieve their goals.

If you've got a solid grounding in Marketing & Comms and a passion for content creation, this could be the role you've been waiting for!

We're looking for...

  • A couple of years under your belt in a marketing communications role
  • A passion for creating engaging content
  • Exposure to a range of channels including social, email and web
  • Excellent stakeholder skills - you'll be building relationships both locally and internationally
  • Accessible to Edinburgh office for hybrid working

You will be...

  • Supporting the development of their communications strategy
  • Raising profile through social media, email marketing, website and newsletters
  • Creating engaging content as well as coming up with new ideas
  • Working on campaigns to drive support of the organisation
  • Researching new story opportunities
  • Building relationships both internally and externally
  • Attending/supporting on ad-hoc events

The good stuff...

  • Excellent salary in the region of 30-35k
  • Hybrid working from Edinburgh (Wed/Thurs in office, Mon/Tues/Fri from home)
  • 25 days holiday + 9 public (gaining an extra day per year for the first 5 years)
  • Pension - 10% (6% employer / 4% employee)
  • Job satisfaction - the work you are doing makes a genuine difference to people's lives and you'd be working for an organisation that truly cares about their employees

Does this sound like you? Then we want to hear from you. Please get in touch with Scott @ Denholm today.
