Full Job Description
Grant Thornton's Business Consulting consists of Enterprise Applications, Technology, Finance, Operations, Deals and People focus areas. The Enterprise Applications (EA) Practice is responsible for advisory and project implementation services related to Oracle Cloud Applications and Technology in particular, and ERP/HCM applications advisory consultancy more generally. A look into the role As an Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM Programme Manager within our Business Consulting team practice, you will:
- Undertake the role of Project Manager specialising in Oracle Cloud Applications solution pre sales, project delivery and related operational management, with focus on project management of Oracle Cloud implementations.
- Scope of engagements will include services spanning full ERP & HCM solutions, using Oracle Cloud SaaS products in the main, but extending to other parts of the Oracle Cloud footprint and other solutions and technologies where needed.
- Within project engagements and sales activity, you will promote a strong working relationship and team spirit with both Grant Thornton colleagues and customer project teams.
- Additionally, outside specific project delivery activity, you will contribute particularly to business development, and operational activity.
Joining us as a Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM Programme Manager, the minimum criteria you'll need is 2:2 honours degree (or equivalent), and multiple years' experience in similar Consulting/Project roles, with evidence of successful Oracle Cloud applications project delivery. Your experience may be in a mix of implementation and end user roles, but with the expectation that you have overseen multiple full Oracle Cloud ERP implementations It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box, we'll help you develop along the way. - Experience of building lasting relationships with C Level and Senior Solution stakeholders.
- Experience of working in equivalent roles in customer or professional services environments.
- Willingness to travel to work on client sites as needed, mostly in the UK, but globally by exception, is important.
