Position

An opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapy Service Manager based at Ayrshire Central Hospital.

What you will do:

You will provide professional leadership to physiotherapists working within North Ayrshire HSCP as well as having operational management responsibility for a range of physiotherapy community teams.

You will represent the specialist contribution of Physiotherapy Services in a range of multi-disciplinary/multi agency fora within and out with the organisation in the strategic planning of agreed service areas, communicating complex and at times contentious information which relates to the specialist area.

You will ensure that systems to support Clinical Governance and performance management are operating effectively within the agreed Service area.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

Registered professional qualification in Physiotherapy and HPC registered.

Evidence of relevant post registration education and development equivalent to Masters Level.

Evidence of attendance at formal management/leadership courses.

Hours: 37 hours per week permanent

UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:

Car licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
