We are excited to announce that we have a variety of posts within Lochbroom Residential home, Ullapool. We are looking for people who are committed to providing a high quality service and ensuring the residents are at the heart of everything we do. We need motivated, enthusiastic, reliable individuals who are able to work under direction as a valued member of our team.
We deliver a high standard of flexible and responsive care to ensure the best quality of life for the people we support. This post is vital to ensuring the wellbeing of the residents to receive all the support to meet their daily needs and a fulfilled life within the home
Previous experience in social care is desirable but not essential. This post requires you to register with the SSSC. To meet this requirement, a SVQ 2 in Social Care, or other relevant qualification or a willingness to work towards this qualification as a Support Worker in a Care Home Service within 5 years of appointment. A full Induction will be provided alongside any training that you will require undertaking the role. Your development will be supported by a Team of experienced practitioners and managers.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
