Full Job Description

  • Preparing process descriptions, checklists and SOP's.
  • Support development of new URFS and interrogating existing software for process investigations and optimisation
  • Fulfilling the relevant Permit Cliq signature authority role and conducting LEO assessments to assess critical process isolations.
  • Preparing training and assessment documentation and conducting training with operations team.
  • Assisting the Team Leader in assessing the competency of the field operators.
  • Preparing safety specific documentation (eg, JSAs, Task Risk Reviews, COSHH and manual handling assessments, risk assessments etc.).
  • Attain a working understanding of the MOC process and assisting the Team Leader in ensuring that changes to the plant or process are clearly communicated to CRO's and field operators.
  • Maintaining the document database (SOP's, PID's, checklists etc).
  • Providing troubleshooting assistance to the operations team.
  • Assisting with start-up and shutdown preparations.

    Successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 years relevant industrial supervisory experience.
  • An HND or equivalent in a relevant subject would be desirable for this position.
  • Dependent upon experience candidates may be required to demonstrate a willingness to work towards Further Education.
  • A proven track record in problem solving and troubleshooting is necessary.
  • Candidates must also demonstrate leadership, teamwork, good communication skills, planning and organising.
