What’s the role about?
You’ll be a key part of our team, helping to create a space where everyone feels safe, valued, and at home. This role is more than just cleaning it’s about making a real difference in people’s lives.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Keeping all areas of the unit clean, fresh, and up to CrossReach’s high standards.
Supporting individuals in maintaining their personal spaces, if needed, in a way that respects their independence.
Working closely with the wider team to ensure a warm and welcoming environment for all.
Following a set schedule or rota, with support from senior staff.
Learning on the job we’ll provide training to help you build confidence and skills.

What do you need?
No prior experience? No problem! If you’ve worked in a similar role before, that’s great, but it’s not essential we value a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
A team-focused approach we work together to create the best environment for those we support.
Basic computer skills (just enough to navigate Microsoft Office and the internet).

As a Christian organisation, you will need to have a respect for all aspects of Christian worship.

You will also need to become amember of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks.You will also be required to adhere to the SSSC Code of practice.
