Full Job Description
Site Engineer – Freelance Contract
Location: Aberdeen
Contract Length: 6-8 Weeks
Start Date: Immediate
Our client, a reputable civil engineering contractor, is seeking a skilled Site Engineer for an exciting 6-8 week contract based in Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control: Oversee quality assurance for the project, ensuring all work meets the highest standards.
-
Setting Out: Accurately set out bases and ducting to ensure correct alignment and positioning.
-
Documentation: Complete check sheets, ensuring all required records are maintained for the project.
-
Support the Site Manager by taking on more responsibility for day-to-day tasks, enabling the site manager to focus on higher-level project coordination.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
-
Proven experience in civil engineering projects, with a focus on ducting and base works.
-
Ability to set out works accurately and carry out quality control procedures.
-
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
-
Ability to work independently and take initiative in managing tasks on-site.
-
Valid CSCS card is essential.
