About the Role
As an HR Consultant, you'll be a trusted adviser to managers across the business. You’ll provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance, and organisational development while ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide proactive, solutions-focused HR advice to line managers
- Support performance management processes and coach leaders effectively
- Manage disciplinary and grievance cases in line with company policy and legal frameworks
- Deliver a smooth and supportive onboarding process for new starters
- Lead or contribute to HR projects that drive business improvement
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and case files
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in an HR advisory or generalist role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR practices
- Confident communicator with excellent coaching and influencing skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting wider HR team goals
- Organised, proactive, and people-focused approach to problem solving
