Applications are now open for InsightsDigital at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Scotland 2025. InsightsDigital is an online platform that presents work by emerging artists within the performing arts.

Applications are now open for InsightsDigital at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025. Produced by InsightsPlatforms, InsightsDigital is an online programme consisting of short works created by emerging artists within the performing arts.

InsightsPlatforms are a Scottish based disability-inclusive organisation, and we welcome applications from disabled, and non-disabled emerging artists, both national and international, who create work within the performing arts.

For our upcoming InsightsDigital platform, at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025, we are looking for digital submissions from emerging artists who create work within the performing arts; including, but not limited to:

• Theatre


• Dance


• Physical Theatre


• Performance Art


• Spoken Word


• Mixed Media Performance


• Collaborative Work

This InsightsDigital platform will be available on demand as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe's online programme for 2025, running August 1st to August 25th.

InsightsPlatforms produce two formats of platform: InsightsLive, our live, in person, staged platform, and InsightsDigital, our online platform. With each platform including a collection of works created by emerging artists across different performing arts subgenres, it allows audiences to experience a myriad of performing arts genres in one production.

Your submission can be work created for film, or a staged production that has been recorded. In terms of video quality, we prefer and recommend 1080p, however, we will consider 720p submissions. Your submission should be no longer than 20 minutes, however there may be some flexibility, so do contact us if you would like to discuss running times.

To be eligible to apply for InsightsDigital you can be based anywhere in the world, you must be aged 18+ and be considered an emerging artist within your practice. To apply, please send us your C.V., a summary of your work, including footage, along with a cover letter to apply@insightsplatforms.com

Except for the footage of your work, your application can be submitted in text or video format. If you require a different application format, please contact us and we will assist you in any way we can. The deadline for applications is end of day Sunday 6th of April.
