Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Management: Build and maintain key supplier partnerships; conduct performance reviews and improvement initiatives.
• Contract Negotiation: Secure competitive terms, ensure compliance, and manage contract lifecycles.
• Purchasing Operations: Oversee orders, resolve delivery issues, and ensure accurate procurement records.
• Cost Optimisation: Identify and implement cost-saving measures based on market analysis.
• Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to meet inventory needs and support new projects.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to policies and regulatory standards; manage supply chain risks.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: 5+ years in procurement, ideally in industrial/manufacturing. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Desirable: Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management; professional certifications preferred.

Immediate availability is advantageous.

Role is based in Fife.
