Full Job Description
DhBorders Recruitment Agency is seeking a skilled Line Operator with a strong background in mechanical engineering for a distillery based in Tweedbank.
We are looking for someone with experience operating production machinery. You will help keep everything running smoothly, perform maintenance, and fix problems to meet production goals. Full training will be provided, but a basic understanding of mechanics is needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain bottling line equipment.
- Perform product changeovers.
- Troubleshoot and fix mechanical issues.
- Improve efficiency and quality.
- Follow hygiene standards.
- Handle dry and finished goods.
The Ideal Candidate:
- At least one year of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in production or bottling.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform manual tasks.
- Team player with a focus on continuous improvement.
Position Details:
- Full-time (40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm, Monday to Friday).
- Flexibility required.
