Job Description

Support to the day-to-day management of roads operations across the Alliance by undertaking a wide range of multi-purpose inspection, compliance and technical support activities in order to achieve the Joint Committee’s key objectives; specifically in relation to both Council’s Community Plans, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreements and Best Value.

Requirements

We follow the national guidance in relation to pre-employment checks namely “Safer Recruitment Through Better Recruitment”. The Individual

This is a permanent part time post with a base at Gauchalland Roads Depot, Galston. The hours of work are 21 hours per week, to be worked at the direction of the Line Manager.

The full time salary of this post is between £36,455 - £39,985 per annum.

The actual part time salary of this post is between £21,873 - £23,991 per annum.

The workstyle for this post is: Mobile - 20-49% of time is office based. Able to work at home, or another location, or travel directly from home to other locations and client visits out in the field. It is the expectation that all office-based employees (with the exception of those working in schools) will work to the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations.
