Role: Commercial Operations Apprentice

Start your career journey with Schneider Electric as a Commercial Operations Apprentice! You'll get hands-on experience and learn about contracts, supplier relationships, and risk management. You'll work with experts to help manage contracts, reduce risks, and build partnerships that last. Plus, you’ll develop key skills like problem-solving, communication, and commercial knowledge while making a real impact at a global sustainability leader.

Starting: September 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract prep: Work with the team to create contracts and proposals.
  • Documentation management: Help keep contract files and records organised.
  • Skill development: Take part in training to master contracting skills.
  • Support contract management, supplier relationships, and risk management processes.
  • Assist in building and maintaining long-term supplier partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and manage risks.
  • Apply problem-solving and communication skills to address challenges.
  • Develop commercial knowledge to contribute to effective decision-making.
  • Participate in projects that support sustainability and operational goals.

What we're looking for:

  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Team player with a strong desire to learn
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

Work pattern:
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (Hybrid – 2 days on-site)

Salary: £21,000 per year.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
