Full Job Description
Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Branch Manager – Fire Protection for our client based in Lanarkshire.
Role Overview:
This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for managing all passive fire protection operations within the branch.
The Branch Manager will ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards, while also driving business growth and maintaining compliance across all works. The role requires strong team leadership, operational oversight, and a strategic mindset to support ongoing success and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the profitable and safe delivery of all branch operations with full P&L responsibility.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with business goals and values.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Promote a robust culture of health, safety, and sustainability across all projects.
- Manage operational performance, ensuring alignment with business plans and KPIs.
- Support business development initiatives and assist in seamless project mobilisation.
- Produce CVR reporting and accurate forecasting.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' leadership experience within the passive fire protection industry.
- Proven ability to manage P&L and deliver commercial outcomes.
- SMSTS certification is essential.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional qualifications such as FRA, leadership certifications, and a valid CSCS card are desirable.
- Full UK Driver’s Licence and willingness to undergo a DBS check.
- Knowledge of fire protection industry standards and SCQF Level 11 qualification desirable.
Offering:
- Competitive salary of £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Car allowance provided.
- Full-time permanent position based in Lanarkshire.
