Full Job Description
As an anchor institution in the Scottish Borders, SBHA promote progressive procurement, that is, developing local supply chains of businesses likely to support local employment and keep wealth within communities. Supporting the Senior Procurement Adviser, you will work together to deliver innovative procurement strategies, collaboration and partnership models of delivery. Additionally, you will support the preparation of statutory annual returns and maintain accurate records of Contracts Awarded, Extensions required and Projected Pipeline.
Your responsibilities will include delivery of efficient tendering processes, contract management guidance supporting and developing skills and knowledge of colleagues across the business with procurement responsibility, to enhance assurance and control to the Executive Team and Board of Management.
You should have a minimum of 3 years' procurement experience at Officer level, and be MCIPS qualified or willing to work toward qualification within 4 years.
This role is office based and while we welcome flexible working requests, the successful candidate should be prepared to commute regularly to our office in Selkirk., Disability Confident
