Full Job Description
Location:Glasgow
Pertemps are recruiting a Legal Secretary to join our client, a local law firm. The idea candidate will have experience working in with a legal firm and ideally exposure to Private Client or Conveyancing work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support
- Draft, format and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Maintain an organized filing system for case files and legal documents.
- Manage schedules, appointments and meetings.
- Communicate with clients, court officials, and other parties on behalf of the legal team.
- Handle incoming calls and correspondence efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with legal procedures and confidentiality standards
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a legal environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Knowledgeof Private Client or Conveyancing practice
